I was wondering whether you guys prioritize certain challenges. I know that voting from members helps, but in today’s rapidly changing landscape, I think challenges involving agents like Claude Code should be prioritized.
What do you all think about this?
We don’t look at total number of votes (what you see on the website) as much, we mostly look at # of votes per week over the past ~4-8 weeks. If Claude code turns out to be at the top of this list, it’ll get prioritized over others!
I feel like the existing user base is database systems or SDE heavy, so claude code might not receive as many votes, but adding more AI-related or the latest in AI challenges brings in a lot more users, so I guess it’s a hard decision to make from your side. Alternatively, I can help design the tasks for claude code and any RAG-oriented frameworks, agent frameworks, or related stuff challenge implementations if there is any way to contribute.
Personally, while Claude Code definitely falls into this category, I would also prefer advancements in the other challenges with a low number of stages currently. For example, “Build your own SQLite” doesn’t even support INSERT and UPDATE yet. (It’s the only challenge where most of the tasks are rated Hard, but I want to give it a try eventually!)

For example, I have litte motivation even starting the SQLite when it has just 9 stages as I know I’ll likely feel dissapointed.
