The next extension for the Redis challenge is now live: Bitmaps.
A Redis bitmap is a sequence of bits stored as a string, useful for tasks like tracking subscriptions or counting daily active users.
By the end of this extension, your Redis implementation will support:
- Creating bitmaps and setting bits with SETBIT
- Retrieving a bit with GETBIT
- Using GET and SET with bitmaps
- Counting set bits with BITCOUNT
- Combining bitmaps with BITOP AND and BITOP OR
Here’s the stage breakdown:
Please give this a try and let us know how it can be improved!
