# Badges to identify staff posts in the forum

I think it would be beneficial to have a quick way to identify staff posts in the forum. Right now there are a few members that I recognize as staff, but it’s not immediately obvious who’s who. I’m thinking probably a badge or icon next to the username, preferably with a “Staff” tooltip upon hover.

Great idea! I think I’ve seen this done on other discourse forums so should be doable. Will let @andy1li tackle once he’s back!
